Welcome to Midwest Gamers! Midwest Gamers is an online gaming community geared towards the Midwestern United States based gamers. -MW- is not a clan! Our community is a local network of friends sharing servers, meeting at LAN's, and even hanging out on occasion. If you are from the Midwest, or you simply love gaming (and ping well to our servers of course!), then you've found a home here. This website and our community is free for all to enjoy. Through donations, Chicago based servers are used and administrated by professional, non-invasive, long-time gamers. Most of the time, you won't even know when an admin is present. -MW- provides a medium for local-area gamers to meet and play together. Whether it's online in one of our servers, or at LAN events. We try to support all of the major gaming platforms from Counter-Strike, to Quake, to Battlefield 2, to WoW, to ... you name it! If you do not find the game that you're currently playing on our list of servers, or in the forums, speak up! There's a good chance that others in our community may be playing the same game and are looking for a place to hook up. Again, -MW- is not a clan, it's a community. We try to run things here like a democracy where everyone gets to voice their opinion before changes occur. Anyone who would like to show their pride in -MW- is welcome to use the -MW- Tag while playing online. We do ask that while wearing the tag, you play with respect to the others around you. You are representing our community! Eventually, we may be semi-sponsoring newer clans that are trying to get off of the ground. This may include use of the private, 12 player tournament server as well as a private section on the public forums. If your clan is interested in a semi-sponsorship, please email admin@mwgamers.com.
